Gardeners and farmers use Urbano mustard cake powder as a fertilizer for flowering and vegetable plants. It is a natural fertilizer and is free from chemicals. After extracting mustard oil, the residue of mustard seeds is used to make this powder. It is rich in protein and contains several micro nutrients which are beneficial for the plant growth. Furthermore, it also helps in preventing plant diseases and keeps the garden plants healthy. It is easy to mix this powder with soil and it easily reaches the roots and promotes healthy development. Applying it approximately after every 45 days is advisable. However, it can vary from plant to plant.
Approximately 25-30 grams of powder can be useful for a pot of 12 inches diameter. While applying the powder, dig a trench of 2-3 inches around the plant, keeping a distance of 3 inches from the plant. Spread the powder evenly on all sides and cover it up with soil. Follow it with watering the plant generously so that the powder mixes well with the soil and reaches the roots quickly.
